Job Summary:
Seeking a experienced Registered Nurse specialized in Medical Surgical - Neuro to provide high-quality patient care in a neuro-progressive or ICU setting. This travel position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with a focus on neurological patient management.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' neurological status and establish individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
- Monitor patient responses and document clinical progress accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate optimal patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and facility policies.
- Complete neuro-progressive competency exams and skills checklists as required.
- Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of recent Neuro-Progressive or ICU experience.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Epic electronic health records.
- Possess neuro-progressive care certification or equivalent experience.
- Be able to complete a neuro-competency exam successfully.
- Willing to work night shifts and flexible schedules.
- Maintain scrubs in compliance with dress code policies.
- Develop specialized skills in neuro-critical care within a multidisciplinary team.
