Location: City of Albany

Job Overview

Hiring RN Supervisors. Full Time/Part Time Evenings (2:45 p-11:15 p) and Per Diem Night shift (10:45 p-7:15 a).

Role Responsibilities
  • Oversee all nursing concerns including assessments of resident concerns.
  • Use 24‑hour Condition Sheets as minimum information; make rounds on each floor to ascertain condition of residents, oversee nursing care and identify problems.
  • Analyze workload for the shift, prioritize and divide tasks equitably and fairly between shift supervisors.
  • Be a support to staff to maintain and provide care based on NYS Regulatory Guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a State approved school of nursing.
  • Possess current license as Registered Nurse in New York State.
  • At least one year's experience in Long Term Care supervisory capacity.
  • Must have demonstrated administrative ability to deal with required nursing functions.
  • Must be able to communicate verbal and written instructions to all levels of staff.
  • Genuine interest in the care of geriatric residents.
  • Willingness to perform any and all nursing duties to support Teresian House Residents.
  • Possess CPR certification (preferred). Will train if expired.
