LPN - Pediatric Specialties Albany

Salary Range: $54,690.00 - $82,035.00

• Obtain and accurately record patient’s vital signs
• Document components of patient’s history
• Communicate in an open and appropriate manner with patients, visitors and staff
• Participate in in‑office procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare provider
• Perform diagnostic CLIA waived testing
• Perform venipuncture to obtain blood for laboratory testing
• Conduct prescription call‑backs per scope of practice
• Prepare patient’s chart for pertinent clinical information
• Maintain inventory of supplies and keep patient examination rooms stocked
• Adhere to AMC’s regulatory compliance issues

• High School Diploma / G.E.D. – required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – State licensure required upon hire
• Previous experience in a patient care setting – preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from physicians, patients, families, and staff

• Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, eye/hand/foot coordination, working conditions

Extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity, wetness, noise, hazards, temperature change, atmospheric conditions, vibration, and other environmental factors may be encountered.
