• Utilize the educational design process to close knowledge, skills, and practice gaps identified through needs assessment and impact evidence-based practice.
• Participate in the design and development of learning solutions consistent with departmental plans to achieve organizational goals.
• Plan and implement evidence‑based education programs to validate and enhance professional and ancillary competence.
• Incorporate system and institutional values, goals, and objectives into educational programs presented to staff.
• Support all policies, procedures, and systems in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Leverage strong presentation skills in an engaging and effective manner using a variety of teaching methods.
• Provide instruction and remediation to ensure staff success in meeting organizational requirements.
• Facilitate orientation for clinical staff.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership, nursing staff, and other disciplines to organize nursing education and research programs.
• Actively participate in and support hospital‑wide functions and activities to promote the organization.
• Support the implementation and utilization of clinical research.
• Maintain current knowledge by reviewing relevant literature, attending workshops and seminars, and networking with colleagues.
• Support the use by colleges and universities of the facility for clinical education and foster good relationships between the hospital and its education institutions.
• Visit clinics as needed for orientation of staff and auditing.
