Nurse Manager - Comprehensive Integrated Outpatient Treatment

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Nurse Manager (Registered Nurse) for Comprehensive Integrated Recovery Services at Whitney Young Health provides clinical and administrative oversight for the day-to-day nursing functions within the Comprehensive Integrated Outpatient Treatment Program (CIOTP)-delivering substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, opioid treatment programming (OTP), and integrated primary care services. Central to this role, is the responsibility for the supervision of nursing personnel and the coordination of integrated healthcare functions including the administration of medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD), health screening, patient education, wellness promotion, and primary care services delivered within the integrated recovery setting.

The Nurse Manager serves as a liaison between addictions treatment services and primary care; while ensuring the effective management of patients’ behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment and primary care services.
