Hours:

  • 07:00 17:30
  • Weekend and night call required

Required Qualifications:

  • Active NY RN license
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a cath lab, procedural area, or sedation environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cardiac procedures and advanced patient monitoring
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience with administering oral and IV medications

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, monitor, and provide interventions for patients undergoing left/right heart catheterization, coronary stents, balloon valvuloplasty, pericardiocentesis, structural heart, intra‑aortic balloon pumps, Impella, and EKOS procedures
  • Serve as a vital member of the Emergency On‑Call STEMI team
  • Administer oral and intravenous medications and monitor patients under sedation for adverse reactions
  • Educate patients and families on post‑procedure care, lifestyle adjustments, medications, and surgical site management
  • Manage all patient documentation, including charting, consent forms, and recording lab results
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, physicians, and allied health professionals
