This mid‑sized hospital provides inpatient general surgery services with established protocols to support both routine and critical care surgical needs. The facility maintains dedicated SICU capabilities and structured support for resident‑led clinical teams. Clinical operations are delivered on‑site with continuous coverage across inpatient and OR settings.
LocationNew York State offers a range of outdoor and cultural attractions:
Niagara Falls State Park, Robert Moses State Park, Jones Beach, Montauk, 9/11 Memorial and Museum, Buffalo AKG Art Museum, Buffalo Zoo, Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, Canalside, Caumsett, and Planting Fields.
The clinician will provide night shift general surgery coverage on an inpatient and OR basis, Sunday through Thursday.
Responsibilities- Assist hospital residents in the SICU with central lines
- Respond to rapid codes
- Support surgical consults on the floor
- Board certification required
- Prescriptive authority required
- First‑assist duties are not required for this assignment
