Salary range: $117,766 - $138,548    Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Uro Oncology  Albany Med Health System – Albany, NY    The Department of Urology at Albany Medical College is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team.

This role offers a focused opportunity to provide expert care for patients with Urologic Cancer while also supporting the broader urology practice.
Position Highlights:  
• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule  
• Clinic hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  o Upon completion of onboarding and training, four 10-hour days may be available.
** Responsibilities:
*** Manage population of patients with urologic cancer including administration of cancer instillation treatments
* Conduct virtual and in person visits to review test results, discuss treatment options and provide patient education
* Order and interpret additional diagnostic testing when indicated
* Collaborate closely with attending urologists, nursing staff, and administrative support staff to ensure high-quality patient care
* Participate in the rotation for urgent urology add-on visits, which may include cases such as hematuria, elevated PSA, kidney stones, or acute infections
* Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record

* Qualifications:

*** License and active registration as a registered nurse/nurse practitioner or physician assistant in New York State
* Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
* Familiarity working in electronic medical records. Epic experience a plus.
* Collaborate effectively across various departments to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and a positive work environment.
* Maintain HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
