Job Overview
The School of Public Health (SPH) at the University at Albany is hiring part-time/adjunct lecturers for undergraduate and master-level courses in Nursing. The position supports both on‑campus and fully online courses in the RN to B.S. completion program and the Master of Science in Nursing program, with a focus on population health.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will design and deliver instruction in courses such as Health Assessment and Health Promotion;
Quality and Safety in Nursing;
Informatics and Technology in Nursing;
Evidence‑Based Practice in Nursing;
Theoretical Foundations of Nursing Science;
Nursing Research Methods; and Health Care Policy and Systems Leadership. Teaching assignments will be determined based on expertise and contributions to the program.
- A master’s or doctoral degree in nursing, education, or a related field from an institution accredited by the Department of Education.
- Previous teaching experience in academic and/or clinical settings.
- Unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in NYS.
