Travel RN - PICU

Job Title: Travel RN – PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)
Location: Albany Medical Center – Albany Medical Center
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 05/18/2026
Shift: Days – 3x12 (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Schedule: Every other weekend & rotating holidays

We are seeking an experienced PICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading academic medical center. The ideal candidate must have strong Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience and be comfortable working in a high-acuity, fast-paced critical care environment.

• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience
• Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience – REQUIRED
• Epic EMR experience – REQUIRED
• Active RN license (NY or compact preferred)
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications (AHA preferred)
• Must comply with facility-specific requirements (non-local policy)

• Provide direct care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
• Monitor and manage complex cardiac and critical care cases
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
• Educate families and support them through critical care processes
