ICU Registered Nurse

Seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care in a busy ICU setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in trauma, neuro, and critical care environments, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive critical care to ICU patients across various units including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ED/PACU beds.
• Perform thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless unit transitions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and facilitate communication with physicians, families, and other healthcare providers.
• Demonstrate competency in float responsibilities and adapt to multiple ICU environments as needed.
• Complete required competency assessments within designated time frames.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of ICU experience, including trauma center exposure.
• Epic EMR proficiency and ability to adapt quickly to different ICU units.
• Must have recent travel experience and be comfortable floating between ICUs.
• Neuro/trauma ICU experience highly preferred.
• Ability to pass a competency test within 24 hours of submission.
• Valid healthcare provider CPR and ACLS certifications.
