Registered Nurse – ICU

Travel RN Neuro ICU and SICU

Seeking an experienced Travel RN with specialized expertise in Neuro ICU and SICU to provide specialized patient care on a travel basis. Candidates must possess strong ICU skills with trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU experience, including Level One trauma certification.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in Neuro ICU and SICU settings, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Perform assessments and monitor critically ill patients, responding swiftly to changes in condition.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Complete competency assessments within 24 hours of submission and ensure effective communication with team members.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license and meet state licensure requirements; willing to review pending licenses.
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience in trauma, surgical, and neurological units.
• Demonstrate recent experience in Level One trauma centers and neurosurgical ICU care.
• Must have epic EMR experience and be able to work days, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, for 13-week assignments.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• Must have previous travel experience and be able to work 48 hours per week.
