Neuro-Progressive Care Nurse

Provide specialized neuro-progressive or step-down care to patients with neurological conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting. Ensure high-quality patient outcomes through skilled nursing interventions and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer neuro-progressive and step-down care to adult patients with neurological conditions.
• Monitor and assess patient status, including neurological assessments and vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical records system.
• Complete neuro-progressive competency exams and skills checklists upon offer.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, including scrubs and dress code standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of experience in neuro-progressive, step-down, or ICU settings.
• Proven clinical skills in neuro-progression or Med-Surg care, with demonstrated competency.
• Epic experience required, with ability to adapt quickly to electronic medical records.
• Ability to complete required competency exams and skills assessments.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient care and team collaboration.
• Willingness to work variable shifts, including day hours.
