Travel RN Operating Room
Seeking a skilled Travel RN specializing in Operating Room procedures to support high-quality surgical care. This role requires strong expertise in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries, with on-call responsibilities as needed.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
- Assist surgical teams with sterile techniques, instrumentation, and patient positioning.
- Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout operative sessions.
- Document all clinical interventions and patient responses accurately.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to facilitate smooth procedures.
- Valid RN license with at least 2 years of OR experience.
- Proven expertise in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular surgeries.
- Ability to work nights and handle on-call duties.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of surgical supplies and sterilization processes.
- Maintain CPR, ACLS, and BLS certifications current.
- Able to adapt to changing schedules and float to other units if necessary.
- Gain diverse clinical experience in a fast-paced surgical environment.
