Registered Nurse - ICU

$2448.00/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for travel assignment in a Level I trauma center. The ideal candidate will have extensive critical care expertise and be comfortable floating across multiple ICU environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care to neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ICU/PACU patients.
• Float between various ICU units and adapt to different critical care settings as needed.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, lab results, and patient responses, adjusting care accordingly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Complete competency testing within 24 hours of placement to verify clinical skills.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Demonstrate recent experience in Level I trauma ICU settings.
• Have proven competence in caring for neuro, trauma, and critical care patients.
• Be proficient in floating across various ICU units and managing complex patient needs.
• Be willing to work 48 hours per week and potential night shifts.
• Must have Epic EMR experience and be able to pass a competency test within 24 hours of submission.
