• Day shifts 7a-4p, evening shifts 4p-midnight available
• Block scheduling of 7 days on 7 days off
• Primary site:
  Downtown Campus- 43 New Scotland Ave, Albany NY 12208

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for acutely and chronically ill hospitalized patients
• Admit, manage, and discharge patients, including completing discharge summaries and care plans
• Conduct daily patient rounds and adjust treatment based on clinical progress
• Perform history & physical exams, develop diagnoses, and initiate treatment plans
• Collaborate closely with the attending physician and other health care providers to provide high-quality patient care
• Serve as a primary point of communication for patients, families, and care team
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans in a clear and compassionate manner
• Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record
• Participate in quality improvement and practice efficiency initiatives

• License and active registration as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York State
• Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Familiarity working in electronic medical records. Epic experience a plus
• Collaborate effectively across various departments to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and a positive work environment
• Maintain HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Advanced Trauma Life Support and Basic Life Support certification required
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position in a clinical environment, including, but not limited to, standing, walking, lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Requires sufficient visual, auditory, and manual dexterity abilities to assess patients, provide direct patient care, operate medical equipment, and complete documentation
