The Infusion Lead RN oversees patient care and provides clinical and operational leadership in an outpatient gastroenterology infusion center.
- Responsibilities include:
supervising nursing staff, mentoring, onboarding, and ensuring evidence-based practices; coordinating daily staffing and workflow; delivering direct care such as administering IV medications and biologics; conducting patient assessments before, during, and after infusions; monitoring for adverse reactions and intervening when necessary; educating patients on treatments and ensuring accurate documentation in EMR. - Qualifications:
RN license in NY, graduate of an accredited nursing program, with at least 2 years of RN experience and prior supervisory or lead experience. - Skills required:
excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills; proficiency with EMR and MS Office; knowledge of gastroenterological conditions, treatments, and safety regulations (HIPAA, OSHA); ability to multitask with attention to detail; compassionate patient service.
