Take your psychiatric nursing expertise on the road with a rewarding 13-week Travel Psych RN opportunity in Amsterdam, NY. This position is ideal for an experienced psychiatric nurse with strong behavioral health experience and a proven travel nursing background.
Position Details- Profession: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Specialty: Psychiatry
- Unit: Psychiatric Nursing
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
- Location: Amsterdam, NY
- Active NY Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 5 years of psychiatric nursing experience
- Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience
- Recent psychiatric nursing experience required
- BLS certification required
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification required
- Travel experience should preferably demonstrate contract renewals
- Strong behavioral health assessment, crisis management, and patient-care skills
- Previous staff members of the facility will not be considered as travelers
- COVID vaccination is no longer required but is highly recommended
