- Supervise frontline, department-based, direct or indirect healthcare departments/programs
- Formally or informally supervise daily and/or house functions of charge nurses, professional and frontline multidisciplinary staff
- Coordinate staff, scheduling, assignments, and/or throughput as applicable
- Participate in and contribute to performance management/review processes
- Contribute to daily performance and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Drive team results within the assigned department
- Implement departmental plans and priorities identified by accountable nurse leaders
- Lead, manage, and advance people, processes, and/or programs supporting direct or indirect patient care
- Promote and advocate for patients, nurses, colleagues, and the practice of nursing
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice / employment
- Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Valid driver’s license where required by assignment
- Leadership experience and/or other experience, licensure, or certifications aligned with area of responsibility and assignment (nice to have)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from an accredited school of nursing (nice to have)
Demonstrates strong leadership in supervising healthcare departments and multidisciplinary staff while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and promoting patient advocacy. Capable of implementing departmental plans and managing performance to drive team results in patient care settings.
