American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro-Progressive Care position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Neuro Progressive Care unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• No blocked scheduling permitted

• Active NY RN license required
• BLS certification from AHA or RQI required
• 2 years of recent experience required in Neuro Progressive Care or related specialty
• Epic EMR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must provide at least 1 supervisor or manager reference no more than one year old (charge nurse references not accepted)
• Must complete competency testing for the unit

• Provide progressive/step-down level nursing care to neurology patients
• Only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted for flu vaccination; personal or religious declinations are not accepted
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible if residing in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties
