American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Critical Care Float Pool position on day shift, requiring 2 years of recent ICU experience and active NY RN licensure.

• Critical Care Float Pool covering ICU units including MICU, Neuro, and SICU
• Day shift schedule
• No blocked scheduling permitted

• Active NYS RN license required
• 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum 1 supervisor or manager reference within the past year (charge nurse references not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must complete ICU competency testing with up to 2 attempts to pass
• US Social Security Number required;
  Canadian SIN not accepted

• Float across multiple ICU units as needed based on facility demand
• No local candidates permitted within a 50-mile radius from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties
• Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted, personal or religious exemptions are not accepted
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period will result in contract termination, and any required make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Requested time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
