American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Critical Care Float Pool night shift position requiring an active NY RN license and 2 years of recent ICU experience.

• Critical Care Float Pool position covering ICU units including MICU, Neuro, and SICU
• Night shift schedule
• No blocked scheduling permitted

• Active NYS RN license required at time of submission
• 2 years of recent experience required in the specialty being submitted for
• BLS and other required certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum 1 reference within the past year from a supervisor or manager (charge nurse references not accepted)
• US Social Security Number required (Canadian SIN not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must pass facility competency testing for ICU units (2 attempts allowed)

• Candidates must complete facility competency testing prior to placement
• Flu vaccination required, with only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional accepted (no personal or religious exemptions)
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• RTO must be requested at time of submission
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius of Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties are not eligible
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
