American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring 2+ years of recent PICU experience and an active NY RN license.

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting within a hospital
• Night shift schedule
• Uses EPIC EMR

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Pediatric ICU required
• Current BLS and other required certifications from AHA or RQI
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must complete ICU competency testing with up to 2 attempts to pass
• Minimum 1 professional reference from a supervisor or manager (no charge nurses), dated within the past year
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required;
  Canadian SIN not accepted
• Medical exemption only accepted for flu vaccine declination (no personal or religious exemptions)

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric ICU patients requiring intensive monitoring and specialized interventions
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration
• Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
• Travel pairs are not permitted for this assignment
