Location: City of Albany
Client (Level I Trauma Center) is seeking an experienced Travel RN – Neuro ICU / Surgical ICU (SICU) to provide care for critically ill patients across trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU settings. The ideal candidate must be comfortable handling high‑acuity patients in a fast‑paced environment.
About the RoleThe Travel RN – Neuro ICU / SICU will be responsible for providing care for critically ill patients in various ICU settings, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities- Provide care for critically ill ICU patients
- Manage neurological, trauma, and post‑surgical cases
- Monitor hemodynamic status
- Conduct neurological assessments and monitoring
- Active RN License (no restrictions)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU staff experience
- Experience in Trauma, Surgical ICU (SICU), and Neuro ICU
- Level I Trauma Center experience REQUIRED
- Previous travel experience REQUIRED
- Epic EMR experience REQUIRED
- Management of critically ill ICU patients
- Experience with neurological, trauma, and post‑surgical cases
- Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring
- Ventilator management
- Neurological assessments and monitoring
