American Traveler is hiring a Critical Care Float Pool RN for a day shift position requiring 2 years of recent ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

• Critical Care Float Pool unit, covering ICU areas including MICU, Neuro, and SICU
• Day shift schedule
• No blocked scheduling allowed

• Active NYS RN license required at time of consideration
• 2 years of recent critical care/ICU experience required
• Certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum 1 professional reference from a supervisor or manager (not a charge nurse) dated within the last year
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required;
  Canadian SIN not accepted
• Must complete ICU competency testing with up to 2 attempts to pass

• Provide critical care nursing support across multiple ICU specialty units as part of the float pool team
• Flu vaccination required, with only medical exemptions accepted (no personal or religious declinations)
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period will result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
• Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
