American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Neuro-Progressive Care unit, requiring active NY RN licensure and prior Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU experience.

• Neuro-Progressive Care unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• 5-bed Med-Surg rotation required for all staff
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active NY RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU setting
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must complete a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required
• Minimum one reference from a supervisor or manager (no charge nurses) dated within the past year

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than 3 call-offs within the 13-week assignment may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
• RTO must be requested at time of submission
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties are not eligible
