Job Description

The work you’ll do will be impactful to the mission of our NYS customer. You will play a crucial role as you join our team in partnership with New York State of Health (NYSoH) to provide comprehensive health coverage to more than 7.0 million New Yorkers through its Health Benefit Exchange (HBE).

  • Join our talented PMO Team and lead the quality management efforts for a dynamic and evolving healthcare program.
  • Provide best practice processes, resources, and tools needed to meet quality goals.
  • Promote risk and opportunity-based thinking across the program.
  • Incorporate quality requirements into processes.
  • Include a continual improvement culture encouraging engagement of all staff to identify best practices and improvement opportunities.
  • Review deliverables and selected products for compliance with applicable objectives, requirements, review comments, and determine consistency, completeness, and traceability.
  • Review, validate and address QA issues/concerns.
  • Support Service Level Agreement (SLA) analysis and reporting.
  • Perform internal and external process compliance audits for the program.
  • Manage the documentation of process audit findings and product defects and track them through process improvements/preventative actions, correction and closure.
  • Champion corrective action plans and help drive them to closure.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Monitor Peer Review processes, documentation of findings, and provide oversight to review artifacts to measure correction and/or justification of findings.
  • Participate in Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and related activities.
  • Coordinate and oversee day-to‑day quality management activities.
  • Provide coaching and training pertaining to internal program QA policies, processes and procedures as well as required GDIT baseline policies, processes and procedures.
  • Prepare and present audit findings to the Executive Management
What You’ll Need to Succeed

Bring your quality expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Software Quality Management Analyst must have:

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
  • Eight (8) or more years of software quality assurance or quality management.
  • External methodology certifications, such as CMMI, ITIL, Six Sigma, or ISO is a plus.
Essential Skills
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies
  • Knowledge of quality standards
  • Experience defining and tracking quality metrics and KPIs.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams
  • Attention to detail with analytical problem‑solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage quality data and documentation systems effectively

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
