Quality Control Analyst III

Albany, New York (On-site) - Relocation available for US citizens

Hartmann Young is partnered with a leading global CDMO supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in the development and manufacture of small molecule therapies.

This is a senior hands-on QC position supporting commercial manufacturing through the testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products and stability studies within a regulated GMP laboratory.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Performing advanced analytical testing using HPLC, UPLC, GC and other analytical techniques
• Conducting data review and trend analysis
• Supporting method validation and troubleshooting analytical methods
• Assisting with OOS investigations, CAPAs and root cause analysis
• Writing and reviewing SOPs, protocols, reports and technical documentation
• Coordinating external laboratory testing where required
• Training junior analysts and providing technical support across the laboratory
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects
• Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and other internal stakeholders

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
• Around 5+ years’ experience within a pharmaceutical QC laboratory
• Strong experience with chromatographic techniques such as HPLC, UPLC and/or GC
• Experience working within GMP-regulated environments
• Knowledge of investigations, CAPAs, method validation and laboratory documentation
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
