Junior to Mid-Level Real Estate Associate

Overview

• The Real Estate Practice advises a global client base, including developers, owners, private and institutional investors, corporates, lenders, and underwriters, on transactions and disputes, with expertise in domestic and international real estate financings for borrowers, lenders, and servicers.
• The associate is expected to work across a broad range of real estate matters and asset classes, including those potentially falling outside traditional real estate practice areas.
• Responsibilities include representing domestic and international investors, owners, developers, operators, lenders, and institutions in various real estate transactions across all asset classes.
• The role involves drafting and negotiating documentation for a wide range of real estate transactions, such as purchase and sale agreements, joint venture agreements, leases, development agreements, and real estate finance documents.
• Tasks include conducting and coordinating comprehensive due diligence for real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and joint ventures, encompassing lease, title, and survey review.
• The associate will provide real estate support to other practice groups, including M&A, private equity, fund formation, and debt finance.
• Required experience includes a large firm setting and representing both borrowers and lenders in financing transactions across diverse asset classes, such as commercial, industrial, mixed-use, multi-family residential, data centers, and hospitality.
• The role reports to a Partner.
