Work Shift:

Per Diem (United States of America). Salary Range: $54,690.00 - $82,035.00. The Histologist III processes, embeds and stains all types of tissue specimens in the routine laboratory and the special stains area of specialized testing in preparation of histopathological examination. This position requires the exercise of independent judgement and responsibility.

• Train students and new personnel.
• Perform testing and report results on laboratory specimens.
• Document test results and quality control thoroughly, accurately, and legibly.
• Demonstrate basic computer skills.
• Listen well, take direction, and engage in interactive dialogues with others.
• Perform maintenance and quality control procedures.
