Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage preparation. • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other drinks according to company standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Manage customer orders with accuracy, ensuring timely service during busy hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, including light food handling tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers professionally and courteously.
• Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
• Support sales efforts by upselling products and promoting specials or new items.

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in coffee preparation, serving, and food service is desirable but not mandatory.
