St. Peter’s Hospital is hiring a Back of House Worker to join our healthcare kitchen team. St. Peter’s Hospital is looking for a dedicated individual to assist in preparing nutritious, non-traditional hospital meals, maintain kitchen cleanliness, support food prep and dishwashing, and work collaboratively to ensure smooth operations.

Rotating Shift

• Assist in preparing nutritious, non-traditional hospital meals
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards
• Support food prep, dishwashing, and storage
• Work collaboratively to ensure smooth operations
• Adhere to SPHP's code of conduct

• Kitchen or food service experience (preferred, not required)
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting
• Read, write and speak English at a minimum 6th‑grade level
• Follow written and verbal instructions and complete high school level computational skills

Pay Range: $16.20 – $19.35 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
