Key Responsibilities- Support daily seafood department operations to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper stock control and rotation
- Ensure seafood products are handled and stored according to food safety standards
- Monitor product freshness and assist in removing unsellable items
- Support and guide department staff during daily operations
- Assist with merchandising, signage, and product displays
- Support receiving processes by verifying incoming product for quality and accuracy
- Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies
- Previous experience in seafood, grocery, retail, or warehouse operations
- Basic understanding of product handling and inventory processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a supervisory or lead role
- Familiarity with perishable inventory and food safety standards
- Experience in high-volume environments
Primarily retail or warehouse environment with temperature-controlled areas. Requires standing, walking, and handling products for extended periods. May require schedule flexibility based on department needs.
