Location: City of Albany

Role Overview

We are hiring a Sales Representative to drive commercial fencing sales by developing new business relationships and managing existing accounts. This role focuses on business development, client engagement, and supporting projects from initial inquiry through contract award.

The ideal candidate has experience in construction or fencing sales, understands project-based selling, and is comfortable working closely with estimating and operations teams to close profitable work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage relationships with commercial clients, contractors, and developers
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the commercial fencing market
  • Support pricing discussions, proposal development, and scope reviews in coordination with estimating teams
  • Conduct site visits to understand project requirements and conditions
  • Follow up consistently on leads, submitted bids, and active opportunities
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline records and client communication logs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to project execution
  • Negotiate contracts and close business while maintaining margin targets
Requirements
  • Experience in construction sales, fencing sales, or related B2B sales roles
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects and project opportunities simultaneously
  • Comfortable reviewing pricing, scopes of work, and technical project details
  • Professional, customer-focused approach
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to attend site visits as needed
