This is a full-time Bench Sales position located on-site in Albany, NY. The Bench Sales professional will be responsible for marketing IT consultants to prospective clients, building relationships with vendors and clients, and ensuring placement of consultants on projects. Responsibilities include understanding client requirements, connecting with hiring managers, negotiating contracts, and regularly communicating with consultants to ensure successful placements. The role requires continuous relationship-building and staying updated on market trends to develop effective sales strategies.
Qualifications- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Sales and Sales Management skills, including the ability to negotiate contracts, close deals, and meet organizational targets.
- Experience with Training techniques to guide and support consultants in understanding client needs and preparing for placements.
- Knowledge of the IT consulting and staffing industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in managing vendor relationships and utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) for candidate sourcing.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment collaboratively and efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
