Territory Sales Manager – Specialty Construction Materials

Compensation: $100,000 base salary + commission (OTE $175k+)

We are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager / Outside Salesperson / Area Manager to represent a specialty construction materials organization across Upstate New York, Western Massachusetts, Western Connecticut, and the Mohawk Valley. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with contractors, developers, engineers, and project stakeholders while developing business across an established regional territory.

• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, developers, engineers, and project decision-makers throughout the territory.
• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and territory development.
• Provide product knowledge, technical support, and recommendations to customers.
• Conduct jobsite visits, customer meetings, and presentations as needed.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and pricing for customers and projects.
• Track sales activity and support continued territory growth.

• 3+ years of outside sales or territory management experience.
• Experience in construction materials, building products, or contractor-facing sales strongly.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a regional territory independently.
• Willingness to travel throughout Upstate NY, Western MA, and Western CT.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

• Base salary around $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
• Additional compensation opportunities available.
