Job Overview

The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages Neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings (e.g., academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts) within an assigned geography. The MS delivers clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals, demonstrating strong ownership, initiative, and compliant, integrity-driven performance.

Responsibilities
  • Engage Rare Neurology experts and other key customers within the territory, delivering clinically focused selling messages to launch products, grow brand share and revenue, and achieve product goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as Reimbursement and Access Specialists to address customer needs, market dynamics, and trends, developing strategies that support brand and corporate objectives.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers, clinical colleagues, and internal contacts—including physicians, nurses, patient advocacy groups, and cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct rare neurology‑specific market profiling activities to understand regional and local health care delivery, influencers, and payer systems.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to grow market share, including creating comprehensive territory/account/customer plans and launching new product initiatives.
  • Lead coordination of efforts across the Regeneron Rare Neurology account team, supporting contracting pull‑through and other business opportunities.
  • Consistently demonstrate emphasis on the “total account call,” ensuring all personnel in the account are educated on Regeneron products.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
    Master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful experience in Neurology sales and specialty/biologic/REMS products, with launch experience preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations focused on Neurology.
  • Proven success with consistent sales performance in complex markets, operating with high integrity within compliance guidelines.
  • Results‑oriented with a track record of success in product launches.
  • Strong account management, analytical, problem‑solving, and planning skills.
  • Current account management experience calling on large Neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
  • Deep understanding of the Neurology therapeutic area and the current market.
Salary

$158,950 - $220,000 annually
