Sales Specialist

Role Description The Sales Specialist is a contract, on-site role based in Albany, NY, responsible for driving sales performance and elevating the luxury customer experience. Day-to-day activities include engaging with customers on the sales floor, presenting product features and benefits, demonstrating products, and closing sales in alignment with brand standards. The role involves maintaining merchandising and visual displays, tracking inventory levels, and supporting promotional activities and events.

The Sales Specialist will collaborate with store management to meet sales targets, provide feedback on customer trends, and participate in training sessions to stay current on product launches and brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and professional interpersonal skills.
• Customer Service and client relationship skills, with a focus on delivering a premium in-store experience.
• Proven Sales abilities, including consultative selling and goal-oriented performance.
• Experience in Training or coaching peers on product knowledge and selling techniques.
• Exposure to Sales Management concepts, such as understanding targets, KPIs, and basic reporting.
• Previous retail or beauty industry experience is preferred, especially in luxury or prestige environments.
• Ability to work on-site in Albany, NY, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
