Canteen, a division of Compass Group North America, has a Regional Sales Director position available. This position will focus exclusively on “new business” development as an individual contributor selling vending and markets in Albany and surrounding areas.

Canteen offers you earning potential of more than $125K with a base salary and commissions—uncapped! • Net new sales and territory growth YOY meeting or exceeding annual revenue and pbo quota
• Maintain and update territory database and annual business plan
• Develop and execute territory/prospecting strategy to maximize sales
• Build strong internal and external relationships
• Lead sales calls and presentations with prospective customers
• Identify problems customers are trying to solve
• Collaborate with sales and operations leadership to achieve KPI’s
• Experience with RFP's

• 5+ years successful outside service-related sales experience
• Self-motivated, inspired to produce and to earn
• Positive, can-do attitude and energy that wins business and inspires clients
• Excellent communication, both verbally and written
• High value on building strong customer and internal relationships
• Track record of exceeding sales quota
• Strong understanding of sales cycles needed to close deals
• Consultative selling approach and experience
• High degree of emotional intelligence
• Effective territory management and business planning
• Financial acumen, proforma development skills
• College degree
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple opportunities and projects at once
• Excellent listener and astute problem-solver
