Sales Assistant

The Sales Assistant will support the solar team specifically, processing orders for brand new PV panels, inverters, batteries, storage and more.

• Provide daily operational support to the sales team by managing RFQs, preparing formal proposals and ensuring data in the CRM is accurate and up-to-date.
• Lead the end‑to‑end administrative process for sales orders, including the creation and tracking of POs and SOs to ensure on‑time fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Be the primary liaison between sales, purchasing and operations to verify inventory availability, inspections and shipping timelines.
• Manage the onboarding of new accounts with excellent follow‑through and detail tracking.
• Maintain proactive communication with existing customers regarding order statuses, tracking numbers and logistics updates.
• Ensure all transactions adhere to Smith’s standard SOPs and trade requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or two years in a sales support role.
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage complex, multi‑line‑item orders without errors.
• A proactive mindset to identify potential logistical bottlenecks before they impact sales processes.
• Excellent Excel skills.
