Solar Sales Manager

Albany, NY (Field-Based with Office Presence)

Pay: $130,000–$180,000+ (Base + Commission + Bonus)

AEC Solar is hiring a Residential Solar Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team in the Albany market.

This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on coaching, performance management, recruiting, and driving revenue growth in residential solar sales.

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of solar sales representatives
• Conduct regular one‑on‑one coaching sessions and ride‑alongs
• Monitor pipeline activity, sales metrics, and performance through CRM tools
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable to results
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales representatives
• Support team development, training, and ramp‑up
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to improve conversion and customer experience
• Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership

• Experience managing a B2C sales team (solar, home improvement, or similar preferred)
• Proven ability to coach and develop salespeople
• Strong understanding of pipeline management and sales metrics
• Experience with CRM systems and reporting tools
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a field‑based leadership role
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Base salary plus team‑based commission and bonuses
