Sales Representative

Job Description

Minnick Family Agency is a growing insurance agency in the Albany area, and we're adding a driven, well-connected sales producer to our team. A New York Property & Casualty license is preferred, but we'll consider the right candidate who isn't licensed yet. Unlicensed candidates must get their license at their own expense before their start date.

In this role, you'll quote and sell home and auto insurance to new and existing customers. With every household you work with, you'll also set up life insurance appointments for our life team. You'll build your own pipeline through your personal network and referrals, backed by leads we provide, and you'll work toward weekly goals for quotes, sales, and life appointments.

Quote and sell home and auto insurance to new and existing customers

Set life insurance appointments for our life team with every household you work with

Build your own pipeline through your personal network, referrals, and community involvement

Follow up on leads provided by the agency quickly and consistently

Review customers' current coverage and recommend the right protection for their needs

Hit weekly activity goals for quotes, sales, and life appointments

Keep accurate notes and track your activity in our agency management system

Deliver a great customer experience from first contact through policy issue

A strong network in the Capital Region and a real center of influence in your community

Highly motivated and self-driven, with a strong work ethic

Coachable and open to feedback

Confident on the phone and comfortable asking for the sale

Organized, with strong follow-up habits

Sales experience preferred but not required

High school diploma or equivalent
