The Mac Namara lab studies hematopoiesis in the context of a variety of infectious and non-infectious models of disease. We are an interactive and diverse group with a team-oriented goal to contribute high quality research to the fields of immunology and hematopoiesis/stem cell biology.
This is a full-time position with full medical benefits. The PI will work with the successful applicant to develop a training plan to guide the applicant in achieving their longer-term career goals.
Qualifications- Ph.D. in cell biology, molecular biology, immunology, hematopoiesis, or a related field.
- Competence in common cell and molecular biology techniques such as qPCR, flow cytometry, imaging, western blot analysis, etc.
- Experience working with mice and in vivo model systems is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate.
- Fluency in English.
- Demonstrated writing and presentation skills.
