As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspection in New York, NY
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and guests. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

• Provide customer service to visitors, congregants, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical situations, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established notification and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the cultural institution, including public areas, entry points, event spaces, offices, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and event-related questions, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
