SERVPRO® of South Albany County is seeking a qualified, career – oriented Restoration/Production Technician.

SERVPRO® is the largest cleaning and restoration company in the country. Our company specializes in the cleanup and restoration of residential and commercial property after a fire, smoke, or water damage situation.

Required

Hours:

Vary between 7:00am – 7:00pm (will require some flexibility to work overtime/weekends, travel when required, and be on a 24 hour on-call rotating schedule)

Job Qualifications:

Ÿ Able to follow direction of on – site supervisor and complete tasks with little or no supervision
Ÿ Able to communicate effectively with staff and customers
Ÿ Polite, presentable, and courteous to customers and co-workers
Ÿ Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Ÿ Able to wear full face and half face respirator
Ÿ Able to complete required training both on the job and in the office
Ÿ Comfortable with technology (iPad, iPhone, etc.)
Ÿ Driven to provide superior customer service
Ÿ Dependable, energetic, self – motivated
Ÿ Able to thrive in a fast – paced work environment
Ÿ Able to handle high – stress situations
Ÿ Valid drivers license with a reasonable driving record
Ÿ Available to respond to emergency calls after hours
Ÿ Reliable transportation required
Ÿ Experience in water/fire mitigation, restoration/construction a plus but not required
Preferred: IICRC certifications (WRT; ASD; FRST)

Job Responsibilities:

Ÿ Arrive at work on time and properly dressed
Ÿ Respond to service calls as needed
Ÿ Communicate with Crew Chief
Ÿ Perform cleanup and restoration services at residential and commercial properties affected by water/fire/mold damage
Ÿ Duties include, but not limited to: water extraction, demolition such as removal of drywall/plaster, baseboards, flooring, moving furniture and other household items, use of hand and power tools, and use of specialized equipment
Ÿ Load and unload trucks with equipment and debris
Ÿ Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite
Ÿ Ensure that customer needs and expectations are exceeded
Ÿ Adhere to strict uniform policy
Ÿ Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, and warehouse
