HVAC Entry Level Technician; AT&T - Albany, NY

Entry Level HVAC Technician (Telecom)

Pearce is seeking Entry Level HVAC Technicians to join our team servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This regional position requires candidates to reside in the Albany, New York area.

• Maintain cooling systems - diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of entire systems.
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
• Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
• Complete daily work reports accurately and promptly.
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

• Must be Universal EPA Certified (Required).
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems, is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

• Candidates should reside in the Albany, New York area.
• Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
• Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
• Occasional overnights required - company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.
• Driving to remote work sites as needed.
• Will be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
• Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
• Required to pass a Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). $49,920 - $56,160 salary/DOE. Additional compensation may include performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.
