Job Overview
St. Peter’s Hospital is seeking a qualified Plumber/Welder for full‑time day shift. The role maintains, repairs, installs and coordinates hospital infrastructure systems such as sanitary, steam, potable water, storm water, condensate return and fire protection. The candidate will also supervise contractor work to ensure safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair hospital plumbing systems, including:
- Sanitary and storm water systems
- Steam and condensate return systems
- Potable water systems
- Fire protection systems
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues in a healthcare environment
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability
- Coordinate and oversee project work with contractors
- Ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certification in plumbing or a related field preferred
- 2–3 years of commercial plumbing experience required
- Experience in complex facilities (healthcare preferred) is a plus

$22.25 – 27.42 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. This position is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary within the stated range based on location.
