CDL A Drill Operator is at the heart of building and maintaining our state‑of‑the‑art PON/fiber network.

If you enjoy working outdoors, learning high‑demand technical skills, and making a real impact on your community, this role is for you. This position is full‑time, year‑round, and typically works close to home with only limited travel required for training.

Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

• Operate horizontal directional drill or locate for the drill.
• Install, maintain, test, and repair buried and aerial fiber lines.
• Operate construction equipment such as trenchers, plows, excavators, and locators.
• Set pedestals, vaults, handholes, and other outside plant infrastructure.
• Operate bucket trucks as needed.
• Support fiber splicing and repair activities.
• Restore job sites and keep accurate project labels and markings.
• Responsible for site set‑up, clean‑up, and equipment maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license
• Experience with drilling equipment, including their capabilities, limitations, and drill setup and design processes
• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, in confined space and remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse

The wage range for CDL A Operator is $30.00 - $45.00 per hour.
