Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Position Summary

Seeking a driven and motivated HVAC Technician to join our service team focusing on commissioning, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC and ventilation systems across multiple sites. Field Service Technicians must be comfortable working outdoors, using ladders, and working in tight spaces. The role includes extensive formalized training, mentorship, and a progressive learning path on Captive Aire products.

A Day In The Life

The role is dynamic and varies from day to day, requiring collaboration with customers and multiple departments, and handling high volume tasks.

Typical Tasks

• Commission new ventilation and HVAC equipment.
• Repair, replace, and troubleshoot existing HVAC equipment.
• Develop and maintain a service schedule.
• Prepare and submit job reports and invoices daily.

Required Skills

• HVAC/R skill set desired.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read commercial wiring schematics.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and use power and hand tools.
• Safety-minded with experience working in outdoors and tight spaces.
• Use of ladders for roof access.
• Passion for work with an aggressive nature to succeed.
• Willing to travel for training opportunities.
• Must be a “go-getter”.

Salary: $65,000–$70,000 base with variable components linked to experience and monthly performance bonuses.
