Commercial Refrigeration Service Tech

As a Commercial Journeyman Refrigeration technician at Cool Sys, you will install, troubleshoot, and service commercial refrigeration systems for retail, industrial, and mission-critical customers. Working in the field, you'll perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on racks, cases, and walk-ins, ensuring efficient, reliable operation. You'll collaborate with engineering and asset management teams, follow strict safety and EPA standards, and leverage advanced HVAC-R technologies while growing your skills through ongoing technical training and career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Install, start up, and service commercial refrigeration systems for retail and industrial customers
• Diagnose and repair rack, walk-in, and reach-in equipment to ensure reliable operation
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and documentation per Cool
• Sys standards
• Interpret wiring diagrams, follow safety procedures, and comply with EPA regulations
• Collaborate with engineers, dispatch, and customers to deliver efficient, energy-focused solutions
